Deficiency-Free State of Ohio Department of Health Survey for Otterbein Cridersville SeniorLife Community
The Ohio Department of Health completed their annual survey of Otterbein Cridersville SeniorLife Community. The thorough survey was a success for Otterbein as they received a deficiency-free health survey and continue to be a top assisted living provider.
A deficiency-free health survey means Otterbein was found to be perfect in all areas examined and no faults were found.
The Ohio Department of Health’s Division of Quality Assurance evaluates the quality of care and quality of life of the assisted living resident by conducting onsite surveys for compliance with state and federal rules and regulations. Each facility in Ohio receives at least one unannounced survey during a nine to 15-month survey cycle.
During these surveys, all aspects of care and services are evaluated based on State and Federal laws and rules related to residents’ rights, quality of life, staffing, abuse, dietary, and environmental concerns.
The thorough and investigative nature of these surveys is necessary to ensure that all residents are receiving the proper quality of care. Otterbein welcomes these surveys as they help to make their already outstanding assisted living care even better by comparing their data with others and improving their own scores each year.
