June is incredibly happy at Otterbein, and she especially loves how the community embraces Christian values. The warm sense of love and kindness that permeates the entire community – from the administrators to the partners to the residents – is a blessing to her daily.
“I just love the people, and it doesn’t make any difference which church they go to either – we’re all friends,” she said. “We love it here.”

Arline A.
Arline is a longtime resident of Otterbein St. Marys, having moved in 17 years ago. From the very beginning, the friendliness of both the residents and partners made her feel at home.
She stays busy doing the things she loves, like taking care of the library, attending church, and playing bingo. Everything she needs, from meals to activities to spiritual fellowship, is available right down the hall, which makes everyday life easy and fun.
“I enjoy all of the friendships I’ve made through the years, and it’s a wonderful place to be,” she said.
